Our Cause

Turkey has one of the largest populations of street animals in the world. Current estimates suggest there are around 4 million stray dogs across the country, far more than the capacity of existing shelters can support. Municipal shelters together hold space for only a small fraction of this number, leaving most animals to fend for themselves on the streets.

Every time I visit my mother in Antalya, my heart breaks into a million pieces. Everywhere you look, there are animals — especially dogs and cats — struggling to survive without a home, proper food, or medical care.  
 

In recent years, these challenges have only intensified. New legislation aimed at removing stray dogs from the streets has drawn both support and controversy, and the gap between the number of animals in need and the resources available to help them remains wide. 
We know we cannot solve this crisis overnight — and we know we cannot help every animal we see. Time, money, and resources are limited. But we can make a meaningful difference one life at a time. This was one of the major factors in starting this business.
 

With every purchase, a portion of our profits goes directly toward supporting local animal care initiatives in Turkey. We work with trusted partners on the ground to provide food, support veterinary care, help fund shelters and temporary housing.
